Biolynk Testimonials
We first looked at Biolynk because we wanted cleaner flush water. The barn is very close to the house so we wanted to minimize the smell. We’ve noticed that we now have total control over all aspects of our manure system, and with such a high capture rate of solids, the lagoon will be much easier to empty. We also like the idea that we can very easily add a digester to our system.
We went to sand bedding for our new barn because we wanted cow comfort, better traction, and mastitis control. Because we wanted to keep the sand out of our new lagoon, and also wanted clean sand that we could reuse, we knew we needed to do a good job separating our sand. We chose mechanical sand separation due to the extra management required with a sand lane, along with wear and tear on loader bucket and tires.

When we chose Daritech’s Biolynk system for our new dairy, we expected high solids capture rates and low operations and maintenance costs. With easily managed dry solids stacked neatly on the slab, very little time is required operating our flush and separation system. Thanks to Daritech and Vance Dairy construction, the performance of our Biolynk system has exceeded even our high expectations.

When we were in the process of building our new facility, the idea of recycling water intrigued us. Reducing labor costs and recycling water were the two main reasons we chose the Biolynk system. With this system our total parlor cleaning time is 15-20 minutes, which has helped us to reduce labor costs! The water is very clean and the odor is close to unnoticeable. After milking, once the flush is complete, the parlor looks just as clean as if we had washed it with the firehoses. We would highly recommend this system to other dairy farmers looking to save time, labor costs and recycle water.
